This bird was way off course! This is the first record of the Snow Bunting in San Diego County when it was found foraging in a baseball field on May 2nd. The Snow Bunting usually is found in Canada and points further north and winters in the northern half of the states. It was at last a couple of thousand miles from it's expected range!
